An Expert Advisor, or EA, is a program that runs inside a compatible MetaTrader terminal and follows its own strategy rules. WeQuant’s current library includes 83 EA products. Choose using the individual product’s platform, supported instruments and operating requirements; loading an EA does not mean it will place a trade immediately.

From product selection to a personal download
The current all-product subscription includes the EA library alongside indicators and tools. Bind the trading account and exact server name, then generate the appropriate product package from the download page. MT4 and MT5 files are not interchangeable. Your website account manages access; the broker account is the account used by the terminal.
Before running an EA
Follow the installation guide, confirm the online authorization connection and review the product’s existing inputs. Instrument names, quote precision, contract specifications and trading sessions can differ between brokers. Check the relevant product instructions before transferring a setup to another account.
The terminal must remain running and connected for local EA functions to operate. Check terminal logs when a product fails to load or cannot trade. Historical reports describe their stated test conditions and are not a promise of future performance.
Questions and answers
Is every EA available for both MT4 and MT5?
No. The library contains products for both platforms, but each product’s listed platform determines which terminal it requires.
Why has an installed EA not opened a trade?
It may be waiting for its own strategy conditions. Check the required instrument, timeframe, permissions, authorization and logs before changing anything.
Does removing an EA close its positions?
Do not assume it does. Removing the program can stop its local position management. Review the product’s instructions and existing positions first.
